AT&T announced today that they are ending their business relationship with golf superstar Tiger Woods. He had signed a multi-year deal with the telecom company earlier this year. Their logo replaced the Buick logo that for years adorned his golf bag.

AT&T is the second known major sponsor to give Tiger the boot since his infamous early morning after-Thanksgiving car accident that lead to him admitting his marital infidelities… which in turn launched a slew of women saying they also had an affair with Tiger.

I am guessing AT&T would have told him yesterday, but they didn’t want to ruin his birthday… which probably wasn’t the best one he has ever had. I hope he has some good New Year’s resolutions ready, as it is going to take quite a bit of work on his part to get back to where he once was.
