It’s the moment that many of his fans have been waiting for.
Chris Brown has issued a video publicly apologizing to his
former girlfriend Rihanna. Back in June, Chris pleaded guilty
to one count of felony assault, resulting from the February
incident where an argument between the former twosome
turned physical.

Chris said that he has wanted to apologize since the
incident, but his attorneys had suggested him not to speak
about it. Brown was arrested on February. 8th and charged
with felony assault. He will be sentenced to five years
probation and one hundred eighty days of public service
which he will serve in Virginia. His formal judgment of
conviction is scheduled for August 5th.

Here’s Chris apologizing in his own words.

    Hi Tonedef,
Its quite fascinating to know that Chris has confessed after all this time. He seems to be sincere. Lets hope that he is truly sorry. Interesting.

  • Hi Katie,

I believe he is sincere in his apology. I really saw it in his eyes and heard it in his voice. I'm like Dr. Lightman. I could tell he was not lying. In case you don't know who Dr Lightman is, he's a human lie detector on a TV series I look at Called Lie To Me. Amazing show starring British Actor Tim Roth. Amazing Show. :-)

    Dear Tonedef,
I have read your article and watched your video and was very moved by what Chris Brown had to say. It brought me to tears. It takes a very big person to come forward and confess to the world and admit to what they have done wrong. I still think that he should take full responsibility for his actions, which he is doing. On the other hand my daughter just read my comment and said to me what would Rihanna think about my comment? I am sorry to say that i cannot answer that question for my daughter and I truly hope that Chris is sincerely sorry for what he has done to Rihanna. Thanks for the article and other information which are quite interesting for public viewing.
    Yours sincerely,

  • Hi Carlene. What you've said is true. From looking at the video I would say he seems truly sorry for what happened. He admitted to making a mistake and he is accepting full responsibility. That's about all he can do. Like he said , he wishes he could take back those few minutes but alas we cant go back and fix past mistakes. I would say that the message to your daughter would be one of forgiveness. Yes we don't condone such behavior but at the same time we must forgive.
